2007 Collegiate and High School Rawlings Gold Glove Awards

The Rawlings Gold Glove Award® is the benchmark of excellence and performance in the field for major leaguers. Beginning in 2007, it also will symbolize the best of the best at the collegiate and high school levels.

Just like the pros, college and high school fielders who climb outfield walls to make incredible catches, cover ground with dazzling aplomb, and snag line shots down the line will be honored with the ultimate defensive award in all of baseball: the Rawlings Gold Glove Award®.

This year, college and high school players flashing serious leather will have the opportunity to win the inaugural Collegiate and High School Rawlings Gold Glove Awards as Rawlings celebrates the Golden Anniversary of the Rawlings Gold Glove Award.

In partnership with the American Baseball Coaches Association, Rawlings will present the first-ever Rawlings Gold Glove Awards to players in NCAA Divisions I, II, and III; NAIA; NJCAA Divisions I, II, and III; and High School.

Rawlings and the ABCA will then present the awards annually.
